2002 I started learning
Egyptian belly dance
with Josy
Zareen, the owner of The belly dance house and school in Iceland.
I have also had workshops with Lulu Sabongi
from Brazil (x2), Anita
Iversen from Norway, Tribal belly dance workshop with Shaide
Halim from Brazil and Dondi
from America. My
belly dance name is Maria
Callista. Callista is Greek and means "Most beautiful
". In November 2003 I began as an assistant teacher in
The
belly dance house, giving classes for beginners and
children. In 2005-2008 I was living in London and dancing and
teaching belly dance there. I am available for
performances or teaching for any occasion, for example anniversaries,
birthdays, parties, hen parties, public or private events.
