My green paintings are a direct effect from the inspiration I got from taking photographs of the moss covered lava in Iceland. I use my imagination to create dreamlike worlds that have a touch of ambiguity and in each painting I am going through a journey in my mind, a journey of memories and emotions. These paintings are also influenced by the music of the Icelandic band SigurRos as I listened to their music while painting them to get more in touch with my roots in Iceland.
